Links to further your canadian genealogy research
Census records are a big part of any genealogical research to find missing individuals or help connect a family member to the rest of the family tree.
In Canada, the last census available was in 1901 before a law had to be passed so further censuses would be publicly available for genealogists. In 2005, Bill S-18 was effectively passed so now the next censuses should be turned over to the National Archives, 92 years after their original date.
